Gone2Korea ESL Teacher Testimonials – Page 2

"This first month has been a whirlwind, a lot to take in. I am really enjoying the school, the teachers and learning about Korea. Everyone has been very nice and it has been a pleasant transition so far. I just wanted to say thanks to Gone2Korea for all their help; the school director, staff and the Korean people in general are very helpful and friendly. I am enjoying myself here and I look forward to the rest of my time teaching and learning about the country".

Cara Howe

"During the preparations for my journey the only thing I was feeling was anxious. That is until I got the first phone call from my Gone2Korea recruiter. All my questions were answered in the first five minutes and even the questions that I hadn't even thought to ask yet (which were many, by the way). I am very happy that I chose Gone2Korea as my recruitment agency. Working with my students makes me happy every single day. I love my school, my supervisors are very kind and professional people who are there to support me every step of the way. I get paid on time and in full every month. I have never been so happy with my job in all my life... and that is the honest truth! Thank you, thank you, thank you"!

Elizabeth Emmons

"It's has been a wonderful experience so far. Brighton is a good school, they look after you well, and pay on time. The foreign teachers have been excellent too. They were very open and welcoming at the beginning, and now, with roughly twelve of us, we tend to do everything together. I still can't get over how great the Korean teachers are. They really will do everything to help. My neighbourhood? No complaints; in fact, when we all go out, it tends to be here, it's clean, safe and all of my windows look out over a small park. Taxis everywhere, and the school is no more than 5 mins away".

Andrew Farrell

"I really appreciated the straight forward communication of Gone2Korea. Gone2Korea is a very professional recruiting agency, and they handled my recruitment very well. I couldn't be happier with my school, and I owed so much credit to them for my amazing experience here in Korea. Thank you!!"

I work at a great school with amazing kids and co-workers, and the living situation is comfortable and convenient. Korea is an incredible country, and I am lucky to be living and working here. Thank you Gone2Korea for helping me every step of the way and taking the guesswork out of the process! I'm having a great time here, thanks so much ".

"I really want to thank you for all of your help. You made what could have been an overwhelming process extremely easy. Also, the school we're at is amazing! The kids are great and all of the teachers are awesome! They've walked us through everything from going to the grocery store to taking us out to bars. Also, our director is awesome! We've only been here a month and he's already taken everyone out for 3 staff dinners. Things really are awesome here and I want to sincerly thank you for your help".

"Korea is such an amazing country! If it wasn’t for Gone2Korea, I have no idea what my experience here would have turned out like. They made everything seem so easy and all of the paper work went by super fast. My location, school, co-workers and students are absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t be happier. The staff at Gone2Korea were an enormous amount of help and I thank them so much for answering the endless amount of questions I had. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for me! ".

Mona Zuther

"We both love Korea. Our school is amazing all the other teachers are so nice and helpful! The kids are ridiculously cute! Everything here has surpassed our expectations! Teaching is going well so far, we honestly have no complaints! We couldn't ask for more, thank you for all your help! ".

Heather Patriquin and Daniel Hunt

"Tonight, all the girls from work got together and we went to Jinhae to check out the cherry blossoms and had then had Korean BBQ. It was a great night. I am really enjoying Changwon. It has a different vibe in comparison to other Korean cities because it is so new, but it's nice. My coworkers are amazing. We all get along so well and it's great to work in such a supportive environment. Teaching can be exhausting, but it has its rewards and it feels good when my students master new concepts, vocabulary, and/or improve their reading. My work days are long, but I don't mind the hard work. I feel I'm becoming a good teacher."

Gema Alonso

"I love it here! I haven't actually left Changwon yet, but I think it's a great city to live in. . . I love all the parks and tree-lined streets. I've already hiked up to the top of the mountain that is just a few blocks away from where I work, have joined the gym, and have taken one week of Korean classes at Changwon College. The school is nice. My coworkers, both Korean and native English speakers, are wonderful. Preparing for lessons is really easy. And the students are sweet and respectful. Most of my classes are a lot of fun to teach. I really do love it here. I feel right at home. ".
